  2. Hi! I am a student at UNCW (20 years old) interested in pursuing Veterinary Medicine. I was wondering how I can get involved with volunteering to get any kind of livestock/large animal experience?

    • Pender County Cooperative Extension has a new Livestock Extension Agent that covers Pender and Onslow Counties that would be a great resource and contact for you. Her name is Abby Dilley and you can email her at aldilley@ncsu.edu I have already spoken to her and you could shadow her and possibly do a small internship to learn more about livestock and get some hands-on experience!
