Want to become involved in showing animals or competing with your knowledge of animals? If so, rabbits are a great place to start! There are a lot of youth in 4-H that are involved in showing rabbits, rabbit projects, and rabbit skillathon!
You too, can join the bunny frenzy and start learning more about rabbits! A great way to get started is by going to a rabbit competition! Sampson County Cooperative Extension and 4-H is hosting a rabbit competition on February 16, 2013 from 9:00am- 2:00pm at the Sampson County Livestock Facility in Clinton, NC. All counties have been invited to participate!
There will be three age categories: 5-8 Cloverbuds, 9-13 Junior, and 14-18 Senior. The competition is broken down into four divisions: breed identification, anatomy, judging, and showmanship. All participants will receive a ribbon! No experience is necessary, you can come to learn!
