Looking for a unique leadership opportunity? Well, look no further than 4-H! Pender County 4-H is starting a Teen Leadership Council for youth ages 13-18 as of January 1.
Join a group of your peers to develop leadership skills, participate in community service projects, and help guide the county 4-H program. This council meets monthly and refreshments are provided. You do not have to be a current 4-H member to join.
Some of the projects youth will be working on will be leading a county-wide community service project, National 4-H Week, and planning various 4-H activities/camps for their peers to take part in. Youth will gain valuable life skills such as leadership, public speaking, setting goals, and becoming workforce ready.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 10th from 6:00-7:30pm in the agriculture building auditorium located on 801 S. Walker St. Burgaw, NC. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org at least one prior to meeting date.
