BJP Rocks!

Betsy-Jeff Penn (BJP) has to be one of the most wonderful places on earth to be in the summer!  Myself and four Pender County 4-H’ers just returned from camping there for 5 days (July 29-Aug 3).  4-H Camp is such an exciting and challenging week for youth!  BJP is a residential camp, so youth are spending time away from their parents for a full week, which can be challenging but also rewarding when they learn to be more responsible and independent at camp while meeting new friends from all over NC!

4-H’ers who attended from Pender County included: Baylen Lucas, Liz Sharpe, Cate Shepard, and Aidan Shepard.  While at 4-H Camp, campers had the opportunity to participate in team building, rock wall climbing, high and low rope courses, environmental activities, crafts, canoeing, swimming, horseback riding, archery, campfires, and more!
