The Southeast District is hosting their own citizenship academy this summer on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Duplin County Cooperative Extension Center!
This academy will teach teens about different aspects of citizenship and local government. Participants will attend workshops and listen to guest speakers. They will also have a chance to voice their opinions about issues in their area.
This event is for teens ages 14-18 and the cost is only $10!!! Transportation will be provided to and from the event. There is a limit of 5 youth, so do not wait to register! Please contact Lauren Langley, 4-H Agent to register at firstname.lastname@example.org or 910-259-1235!
