Do you LOVE dogs? Do you want to learn more about dogs? If yes, then you may want to consider being part of the new 4-H dog club in Pender County! The club leaders will be holding an interest meeting on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 6:00-7:00pm at the agriculture building auditorium (801 S. Walker St. Burgaw, NC).
During the interest meeting you will be introduced to 4-H, the club leaders, other youth interested in joining, and what the dog club is going to be all about! Come check it out and learn more about 4-H and why the 4-H dog club might be the perfect fit for you! You do not have to own a dog to be interested- just a passion/interest for dogs and learning more about them! Please help spread the word and we will see you there!
Pender County 4-H is the youth development program of the Pender County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension, serving all Pender County youth, ages 5-18 (as of January 1).
Through 4-H, more than 235,000 young people in North Carolina learn new skills and serve their communities each year. 4-H offers clubs, special interest programs, summer camps, school enrichment and after-school child care. Guided by North Carolina Cooperative Extension educators and adult and teen volunteers, 4-H’ers gain knowledge, skills and experience that help them become responsible citizens and leaders.
