In the summer, Pender County 4-H provides an assortment of summer educational programs as a part of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service-Pender County Center. The programs are meant to provide a safe, fun and educational variety of program alternatives for children while they are out of school. All youth are invited to participate, regardless of whether they are members of 4-H or not. In order for registration to be complete, payment must be received. Cost covers the expense of the class. If classes are full and your money has not been received, your child may not be able to attend the class.
What is 4-H? 4-H is a non-profit youth organization that exists nationwide and statewide and is open to all youth ages 5-18. 4-H promotes hands-on learning, building of life skills, volunteerism and leadership and is free to join.
