4-H Citizenship NC Focus *Deadline Approaching*

4-H Citizenship NC Focus is a unique leadership opportunity for 4-H youth ages 14-18 in downtown Raleigh, NC on June 11-13.  Hands-on workshops, panel discussions, distinguished speakers, and open discussion will help youth discover how government impacts everyday life, and how they can impact government in return.  Youth will learn about state government, working with public officials, hear from prominent NC officials, and visit legislatures.  This event would cost over $500 per youth, however the NC Electric Cooperatives help offset the cost down to $150 per youth.  That registration fee covers everything for the 3 days.  Transportation and supervision is provided to and from the event as well as during the event.  Please let Lauren Langley, 4-H Agent know if you are interested in attending, this event is now fully funded for (2) teens…that means it is FREE, so let me know if you are interested!  This was made possible by our county commissioners!!! The deadline to register is April 23, 2012!
