4-H Livestock Skillathon

4-H Livestock Skillathon Interest Meeting

Is your child interested in learning more about livestock/animal science? Even if you do not own livestock, 4-H has a wonderful learning/competition opportunity for interested youth pursuing animal science interests! 4-H has a livestock program called Skillathon. Youth learn to identify breeds, feeds, equipment/tools, and meat cuts. Youth also learn facts about beef cattle, swine, meat goats, and sheep! Pender County 4-H is holding an interest meeting so you can learn more about skillathon on February 8th from 6:00-7:00pm! You must RSVP by February 8th 12:00 noon so we can prepare! If you have any questions please contact Lauren Langley, 4-H Agent at lauren_langley@ncsu.edu or 910-259-1235. *Please see attached flyer for more information*
